Yes. Election day is not a federal holiday, so the DMV should be open. Although the process of going through the DMV may be slower since employees are allowed to take up to several hours off of their work day to go vote.|||Call %26amp; ask, or even go to the website %26amp; look.
But if they were closed, would it be a life shattering event to be 1 day late getting your license?|||Yes, they should be open. I haven't heard of them being closed. If it's like it was when I got licensed, you better get there early and be prepared to be there awhile. And they could be short-staffed due to people leaving to go vote and then coming back.
