You will have to get another permit first. NC is like that.|||You go to the DMV and apply for a renewal.
They will check your national file to make sure you haven't been issued a license in another state, and to make sure you don't have any outstanding NC tickets or warrants.
You pay the fee, take a new picture, and you're good to go.|||you have to stand in line for hours at the DMV for a number. THen you will have to wait in line until your number is called. Then get to ask your question and they will send you to get another number so you stand in line again for a number for the renewal line. THen you wait and wait for hours until they call you. One number before you....oh all of the sudden its thier lunch break. So they shut down for 5 hours to take a nap after the eat. THen you have to pay like 50 bucks for a new license.
