i went to the dmv with a copy of my birth certificate for getting an i.d. and they said they could not acccept copies, only the original. They had 2 options i only clearly remember one, and it was to go or call the county i was born in and re oreder a new one. I was also wondering what the other option ways, it was something like taking it to the court ot get it official or something like that. Please help me on the 2nd option im not sure what to do. Ive been waiting already 2 weeks to start a job that ive already gotten.|||get an original its simple enough
http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/w2w.htm|||From the sounds of things, if it's a copy, they need it notarized. You will have to look in your phone book for a notary and find out what they need in order to notarize it.
