How to register a vehicle in NC question...?

I just bought a vehicle from private seller. I have tittle signed by both.





Now, to register the vehicle do i need to insurance the car first? or take the title to the DMV first and insurance after?

Then when you cross State or Provincial lines, you will be covered for at least the minimum amounts of the State or Province you are crossing into.|||U always need insurance but first you must go put it in your name, they wont issue you tags untill you have insurance verification, and you must smog it since you just bought it from a private owner..
