need to know what to do with registration. im guessin i just unregister the vehicle? (IM NOT AN IDIOT...IM A WEB EXPERT..NOT A DMV WORKER) please help.|||the last thing you want to do is keep the license plate and registration UNLESS you have another vehicle which you would like to transfer the tags to...but if you are not planning to transfer the tags to another car, as soon as car is taken off insurance, turn in the license plate @ the DMV, the DMV charges for having a license plate out without any insurance (and they will find out, trust me). While you are returning the tag @ the DMV, you can ask them about the registration and a refund and see where they direct you. Some states take care of it @ the DMV some send you to the tax office.
Good Luck|||Keep it and the plate in case you decide to buy another vehicle and then transfer it to the new one.|||Fill out change of title sign it. Fill out form absolving you of any liens or warrants.
