Is the NC DMV open on Black Friday?

My mom wants to take me to get my permit, but I don't know if it's open. Anyone out there know?|||They are closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday (Thanksgiving day) and the Friday after it. See link below for full list of holidays.
