Can I get an Ohio Motorcycle License If I'm a NC resident?

I want to buy a motorcycle ( I know I don't need a license to buy a motorcycle) I'm currently in Ohio, and If I wanted to get a motorcycle License in NC, I would have to go home. This is not possible for me to do any time soon.

So I'm asking If I walk into the DMV can I get a ohio license or temporary permit? something so I can ride around legally.|||In Ohio, and I believe every other state, you can only hold a license in ONE state. Ohio doesn't have a "motorcycle license", it places an endorsement on your "operators License" which allows you to drive a motorcycle. I'm sure there are some concessions made for those in the military, but I don't know what they are. I have a friend who owns one of the License stations in the Dayton area, I will call her on Tueday and get more information if you like.|||I doubt it. You probably will have to get it from your state of residence. It's usually an endorsement on your drivers license.
