Failed DMV NC Road Test?

How many times does the NC DMV permit to pass a road test? i got through the written and vision test.|||You can take it another twice before more payments apply..|||Im pretty sure as many as you need untill you pass, but i think after the 3rd time you need to pay $15 or something
